Elos works to help people recover their ability to dream and find the will to realize these dreams with others. They work with people from high-risk urban and traditional communities in the Sao Paulo area and with youth and social entrepreneurs from four continents.
Elos believes that everybody wants to transform the world, and can. They are dedicated to creating opportunities where people can contribute joyfully, voluntarily, and cooperatively to build a more beautiful, peaceful, and abundant world for all.
One program is particularly unique. Warriors Without Weapons is a hands-on training course for students and young professionals who are committed to preserving traditional cultures through community-based sustainable development. During the month-long program, students are immersed in the day-to-day reality of a local community. This experience poignantly brings to life that which students have often only studied in the classroom.
